Responsibilities

  • Execute IT strategies aligned with the firm's goals.
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day IT operations with a focus on infrastructure management, user support, and technology procurement, emphasizing a responsive and urgent approach to meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that elevate the firm's IT capabilities and maintain or lead industry best practices.
  • Manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective communication, and adherence to budget.
  • Play a key role in enhancing cybersecurity measures and maintaining compliance with industry and legal standards.
  • Manage and foster partnerships with external vendors and service providers to optimize IT services.
  • Handle and implement solutions concerning applications in the firm’s image.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to align technology with the evolving needs of our legal professionals.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure efficient operations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential to benefit the firm.
  • Stay informed on existing and evolving security issues and respond thereto

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification in security preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience preferred, in IT management roles, preferably within the legal sector.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving objectives.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and technology, cybersecurity best practices, and modern networking concepts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to address complex challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with legal technology solutions and their application in a law firm environment.

Desirable:

  • Extensive work experience in Client Platform Engineering (Windows)
  • Strong experience with Cloud Native Networking / Public Cloud (Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or PMP are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
