Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Linux Systems Administrator to join our team.

OVERVIEW
The purpose of this request is to bring on a third-party contractor to expand system administration management support across NS2’s PCE and SHC customers. The role is needed to liaison directly with operations and security to close the gap in operational deliverables for both audits and security compliance. They will be leading several high-level technical projects that operations will leverage across all customers.
- Responsible for system administration of core systems, including monitoring and repair of high-performance computing systems
- Ensures consistent and reliable operation of enterprise servers and network infrastructure
- Provides wide-ranging system administration in a multi-platform environment
- Performs general system administration tasks, including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, and urgent system patching
- Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks
- Identifies and troubleshoots problematic hardware components
- Conducts daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, and network infrastructure
- Monitors system logs, application logs, and security logs
- Ensures awareness of network disruptions and predefined key processes
- The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps, security tooling, and image hardening
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Linux Technology experience
- Proven work experience as a system or network administrator
- US Citizen

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
