Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Jr. IT Administrator to join our Virginia Beach, Virginia team! The Jr. IT Administration is essential to supporting our IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the organization.

What you’ll be doing

• Racking and cabling equipment in data center and office environments.
• Performing patch management across Windows systems and ensuring timely updates.
• Administering Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Group Policy configurations.
• Participating in the on-call rotation to support critical IT operations.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Collaborating with senior IT staff to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Maintaining documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.

What you’ll bring

• Ability to work on-site in the Virginia Beach office 3–5 days per week
• Basic experience with rack-mounted equipment and cabling
• Familiarity with patch management tools and processes
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
