The primary role is to administer and maintain a systems infrastructure that supports the business goals and objectives. This position collaborates with team members that manage the design and day-to-day support of IT operations system infrastructure including but not limited to Servers, clients, Active Directory, VOIP, disk management and disaster recovery/backups.
User Support:

Provides Tier 3 level support and resolution of all identified and assigned issues including but not limited to Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office applications support, and mobile device support.

Provide lead role for helpdesk functions including review and delegation of helpdesk incidents within the team and validating resolution in accordance to all service level agreements.

Build rapport with user community by timely, professional responses to requests.
Technology Functions:

Enhance and provide audit level review of accurate work instructions and procedures for IT Operations staff.

Performs assigned day-to-day reporting tasks on support efficiencies and managing of IT assets.

Executes ongoing administration review of directory services, health maintenance plans, procedures and operations.

Responsible for troubleshooting and problem resolution of infrastructure IT operation components.
Project Management:

Support IT Operations projects by leading on defined projects and coordinating with IT Architects and engineers. Communicates task status with appropriate team members.
System Design & Architecture:

Creates documentation and procedures for end users & IT operation personnel.
Safety:

Provides assistance in support of the safety strategy to reduce work related injuries.

Performs all job functions in a safe manner and maintains safety awareness.

Reports known accidents, injuries and unsafe practices or conditions to safety manager.

A Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent experience is required.

Microsoft MCP Certifications are preferred.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT systems administration is required.

Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Active Directory User Management are required.

Working knowledge in the following is preferred: Microsoft SCSM / SharePoint / SCCM

Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications version 2010 and higher.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to operate a keyboard and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting (10 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work. Up to 10% of time spent in manufacturing environments around industrial equipment. Able to travel up to 5% to other Company locations.
