We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead data-centric projects for enterprise clients. This role requires a blend of data platform architecture, application development, and project management to ensure successful delivery.
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data and analytics pipelines while leading a small team of developers. You will work closely with clients to define solutions, oversee implementation, and ensure alignment with best practices in data architecture, cloud computing, and AI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Development
- Design and implement data and application systems using Microsoft Azure resources.
- Lead the development of scalable data platforms and analytics pipelines for enterprise clients.
- Conduct discovery efforts with clients to define requirements and solutions.
- Implement and maintain Azure-based data solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI).
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, data governance, and security.
- Work with other architects to design, review, and implement solutions.
Project Leadership & Management
- Lead a small team of developers for each project, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Act as both an Architect and a hands-on Developer, implementing designs first-hand.
- Manage projects using Agile or hybrid Agile methodologies.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to drive project success.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Serve as a trusted consultant, advising enterprise clients on best practices in data and cloud architecture.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, appearing on camera as needed.
- Ensure timely responses and clear communication to maintain strong client relationships.
Certifications & Continuous Learning
- Hold or be willing to obtain Azure certifications (covered by the company).
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in cloud computing, AI, and data analytics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience in cloud architecture, data platforms, and system development.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong experience in data and analytics pipelines and cloud-based data architectures.
- Proven ability to design and develop scalable cloud solutions.
- Experience working in a client-facing consulting role.
- Ability to lead small teams and manage projects effectively.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics solutions is a plus.
- Ability to work US hours and be available for on-camera meetings.
