Job Overview

The Engagement Manager is responsible for overall governance, executive oversight, and successful delivery of large-scale public sector IT system integration projects. This role serves as the primary executive liaison between the Contractor, subcontractors, and State stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities (Mandatory – M)

• Provide executive-level governance and decision-making authority for large IT project scope, schedule, and delivery.
• Lead and oversee large-scale IT system integration projects with contract values exceeding $10 million.
• Act as the primary Engagement Manager for public sector IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with contractual, technical, and business objectives.
• Manage executive communications, risk escalation, issue resolution, and formal approvals.
• Lead projects using Agile or Hybrid Agile development methodologies, ensuring delivery milestones are met.

Desirable Experience (DS)

• Serve as Project Director for public sector systems supporting state, county, or city governments with populations over 1,000,000.
• Provide strategic leadership in system implementation or ongoing operations in large government environments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
