Overview
We’re seeking experienced AI Engineers to join a high-growth intelligence technology company focused on enabling national security agencies and corporate organizations to make high-confidence decisions about emerging threats and strategic opportunities. This role is an opportunity to design and deploy production-grade AI systems that power EVO Tech’s expansive intelligence platform—supporting critical risk assessment, threat analysis, and opportunity identification. You’ll help shape a modern, scalable architecture that fuels real-time insights and contributes directly to a more secure and prosperous future.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy advanced AI models—moving beyond prototypes to production-grade intelligence systems powering threat detection, risk assessment, and opportunity analysis.
• Develop and maintain backend Python services that operationalize AI pipelines across EVO’s intelligence platform.
• Implement large-scale data ingestion and processing pipelines for enterprise and sensitive datasets, where data security and integrity are critical, including automated data validation, ETL workflows, and continuous monitoring.
• Train and optimize models across multimodal, high-volume datasets originating from diverse sources such as images, video, audio, tabular data, and graph-structured information.
• Build intelligent decision-support systems that help users interpret risks, surface emerging threats, and identify strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and domain teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and shape EVO’s architectural direction.
• Create internal documentation, training materials, and occasional workshops to enable broader team adoption of AI tools.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in AI—particularly around large-scale analytics, linked data, graph intelligence, and emerging compute paradigms.

Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a track record of deploying real production systems at scale.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Java, C, or R is a plus.

• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, or Spark ML.

• Strong SQL skills for analysis, querying, and data modeling.

• Comfortable with Bash scripting for automation tasks.

• Experience with real-world AI applications such as knowledge extraction, data mining, large-scale analytics, intelligent decision-support systems, workflow automation, and enterprise AI systems.

• Familiarity with modern AI paradigms including Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), agentic AI systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

Bonus Skills

• Comfortable working in a lean, high-performing team and influencing engineering and AI direction.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
