Position Title: Enterprise Applications & AI Manager

Position Overview

The Manager, Enterprise Applications & AI leads the modernization and optimization of core business systems while spearheading the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the enterprise.

This strategic and technical leader will oversee the administration and continuous evolution of mission-critical applications, including ERP, WMS, CRM, and PLM and drive the digital transformation roadmap. The role combines hands-on system expertise with strategic vision, ensuring data unification, process automation, and scalable AI adoption that enhances decision-making and operational efficiency company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Application & AI Leadership

  • Lead the Enterprise Applications Team, overseeing all core business systems and digital infrastructure.
  • Align system architecture and data strategy with corporate and AI transformation objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to design, prioritize, and execute AI-driven business improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through smart technology integration.

Enterprise Application Ecosystem Management

  • Oversee the performance, optimization, and support of critical business systems, including:
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Product Information Management (PIM)
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Financial Management & eCommerce Systems
  • Project Management & Collaboration Tools
  • Manage licensing, upgrades, security, and system integrations across the enterprise application landscape.
  • Partner with functional leaders to maximize system utilization and user adoption.

Data Integration & AI Enablement

  • Serve as the internal program lead for the company’s AI platform implementation in partnership with external AI developers and integrators.
  • Architect and optimize data flows, pipelines, and governance frameworks that unify data across systems for AI readiness.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility to enable predictive analytics, process automation, and intelligent reporting.
  • Translate AI capabilities into practical business tools and measurable outcomes.

System Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct proactive assessments of existing systems to identify gaps, redundancies, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Lead workflow optimization initiatives leveraging both core system capabilities and AI functionality.
  • Establish metrics for uptime, data quality, user adoption, and ROI to ensure system and business performance.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, recommending innovative tools and methodologies that align with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in enterprise applications leadership within a manufacturing environment; experience integrating AI or machine learning platforms preferred.
  • Proven success in managing ERP and WMS systems within production or logistics operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, SQL/MySQL, and enterprise integration tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional digital transformation initiatives from design through execution.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across business units.
  • Project management certification (PMP or Agile) preferred.
  • Experience in data architecture, AI governance, or data warehousing a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
