Position Overview
The Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud-native solutions across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This technical leader enables enterprise clients through future-ready architectures that support modern application development, including React-based front ends and .NET back ends.
The ideal candidate will drive cloud strategy, governance, and innovation while ensuring alignment with security standards, cost optimization, and business objectives across multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise cloud solutions leveraging AWS and GCP services to ensure scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate React.js front-end applications and .NET Core back-end services into cloud-native architectures.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security policies, and compliance standards across multi-cloud deployments.
- Optimize application performance and reliability using monitoring tools, automation, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on cloud architecture best practices to engineering and operations teams.
- Conduct cloud architecture reviews, ensuring designs align with business strategy and industry standards.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of key AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, IAM).
- Strong experience with CI/CD architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in React.js for UI development and .NET Core for back-end service development.
- Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, VPN technologies, and secure API integrations.
- Ability to design distributed systems, event-driven workflows, and microservices-based architectures.
