Software Quality Engineer
12+ Months W2 Contract

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve test case effectiveness.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in web application testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test case design and execution.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with automation testing tools (Playwright) is a plus.

Pay Range:
$45.00 - $49.00/hour
