Job description

Job Overview
We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a leading SaaS platform in NYC. Base salary is $160k to $190k based on your skills. This role is hybrid with 3 days on-site in downtown NY and 2 days remote. This role is for a self-directed expert to take full ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring in a high-autonomy environment.

Main Skills
AWS (Lambda, CloudFormation, Step Functions, S3, ECS, EFS, Route 53, CloudFront)
Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Repo, and Account Management)
Datadog (Monitoring, Alerting, and Incident Response)
Automation (Bash and PowerShell)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the full AWS serverless stack and infrastructure
  • Design Azure DevOps pipelines while managing all account-level users and permissions
  • Resolve infrastructure issues end-to-end and eliminate failures before production
  • Lead observability using Datadog to implement elite monitoring frameworks
  • Drive operational excellence to slash incident rates and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure new services are production-ready and cutting-edge

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with 5+ years in a Senior or Lead role
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, AWS Lambda, and Datadog
  • Proven ability to design and maintain complex serverless architectures
  • Deep understanding of cloud data flow and end-to-end system troubleshooting
  • Proactive work style with a strong ownership mentality and zero need for micromanagement
  • Calm under pressure with a focus on prevention through automation
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder with 3 direct line manager references
