Job description

Position Overview:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of operational systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise in programming, databases, system administration, and cybersecurity, as well as the ability to manage projects, KPIs, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage IT strategies that enhance operational efficiency and meet company KPIs.
  • Lead application design and development projects, using Python and SQL, to optimize workflows across ERP and warehouse systems.
  • Oversee Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, group policies, and user management.
  • Administer and optimize Google Workspace for company-wide collaboration and security.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including system access controls, monitoring, and compliance standards.
  • Define, monitor, and report on IT KPIs to measure system performance, uptime, and project effectiveness.
  • Manage internal IT team members and coordinate with external vendors and consultants to supplement resources when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to staff on system use and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and warehouse teams to design technology solutions that improve productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably in operations-focused environments.
  • Strong programming experience in Python; experience with SQL database development and optimization.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and system administration tasks.
  • Experience managing cloud platforms, preferably Google Workspace.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.
  • Experience in application design, workflow automation, and systems integration to drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining, tracking, and improving KPIs.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
  • Familiarity with network administration and IT infrastructure in multi-site operations.
  • Prior experience managing IT teams and external technical resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
