Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Network and Data Administrator to manage our network systems, oversee data integrity, and lead reporting initiatives. This position requires advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting knowledge. This position will require limited travel to our furniture shows to provide technical support for our Sales Force.

Key Responsibilities:

•Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network systems, servers, and hardware.

•Administer and secure data storage, backup, and recovery systems.

•Manage network permissions, user accounts, and access controls.

•Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.

•Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations using pivot tables, nested formulas, macros, Power Query, and automation techniques.

•Work within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and enhance workflows.

•Collaborate with coworkers to analyze requirements, improve processes, and optimize reporting.

•Use Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.) for communication and collaboration.

•Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, reporting processes, and ERP customizations.

Qualifications:

•Required: Proven experience in network administration, data reporting, and ERP system management.

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and Power Query).

•Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

•Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.

•Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred (but not required):

•Industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, etc.).

•Experience with SQL, database administration, or BI tools like Power BI.

•Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

•Familiarity with AL programming language for Business Central customization

Education:

•High school diploma or equivalent required.

•Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience strongly considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
