Job Description:
- The DB2 DBA will be responsible for providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases. They will ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth. Additional knowledge in relational databases is highly recommended as they will be helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases. They will work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.
- We currently have approximately 10 applications including OJI, RCEXPRESS, WOTC, and SETS data warehouse.
Mandatory skills:
- Seeking an experienced DB2 DBA who will support approximately 10 ODJFS database applications.
Education:
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Certifications or Desired skills if any
- SQL Server DBA certification is preferred
Nice To Have Skills
