Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Lead to provide on-site leadership and guidance for our established DevOps team supporting DOCSIS Device Activation and Management platforms. This onshore role focuses on team leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on support when specialized expertise is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Guidance
• Lead and mentor existing DevOps team members across SRE, CI/CD, Release Management, App Support, and Observability functions
• Identify operational challenges and guide team toward effective solutions
• Provide strategic direction for DevOps initiatives and process improvements
• Operational Support & Escalation
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues requiring senior expertise
• Provide hands-on support during critical incidents or when team capacity is limited
• Guide troubleshooting efforts and knowledge transfer to team members
• Process & Standards Development
• Help establish best practices and standards across all DevOps functions
• Review and improve existing operational procedures and playbooks
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team

Required Qualifications

• Telecommunications Background: Experience with DOCSIS, cable modem systems, or telecom infrastructure
• AWS & Kubernetes Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes

• Splunk Experience: Proficiency in Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and log analysis
• DevOps Leadership: 5+ years leading DevOps teams with hands-on technical expertise
• Mentoring Experience: Proven ability to guide and develop technical team members
• Location: Onshore candidate required for on-site leadership and collaboration
