Cybersecurity Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from various sources to identify potential threats.
  • Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint protection, firewalls, and other security tools.
  • Support security awareness training and promote a culture of cybersecurity.
  • Document security incidents, risk findings, and mitigation steps.
  • Stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and risk management.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Proficient in network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and user interaction.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a cybersecurity or related IT security role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
