This position will report to our Nashville office.
This position will pay $121,900 - $120,100 with a 10% bonus eligible.
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.
- Administers database servers, database software, and performs regular database security patching and updates.

Provides and manages database services, including Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, high-availability clusters, backups, and restoration processes.

Conducts troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving for database performance and stability issues.

Ensures data governance, security compliance, and best practices within hybrid multi-cloud infrastructures (Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and private data centers).

Collaborates closely with application developers, data scientists, and infrastructure teams to deliver optimized data services.

Designs and develops robust data integration solutions for enterprise applications, analytics platforms, and AI tools.

Creates and maintains data models for relational, graph, and document databases.

Implements ETL/ELT processes and API-driven integrations, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Innovates and adopts new methodologies and automation tools to enhance data services efficiency.

Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Master's degree is preferred.

Five years of Oracle DBA experience required.
- Must have two years of experience with enterprise level systems, including backup and high availability.

Skill set should include Oracle Database, RMAN, and SQL expertise. Additional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis up to two years.

SQL Server DBA experience is preferred.
- Experience in Windows and Linux environment preferred.

Experience with web servers, application servers is preferred.

In depth knowledge of database monitoring, tuning and backup systems technologies with experience in Linux OS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) preferred.

Oracle certification preferred.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational, and technical documentation skills.

Must be a proven team member who can also work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
