Job description
We are seeking a ON SITE motivated, career-minded Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role supports customer systems and network infrastructure, assists with new site deployments, troubleshoots connectivity issues, and helps maintain secure, stable, high-performing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, support, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
Install, configure, support, and maintain hardware and software systems across customer environments.
Support Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, Domain Controllers, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
Administer CMMC 2.0 certified networks and environments while supporting security, compliance, and operational requirements.
Administer and support Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, and Remote Desktop Services.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance issues, outages, and infrastructure problems in a timely manner.
Assist with circuit upgrades, disaster recovery, backups, replication, snapshots, and recovery testing.
Perform preventative maintenance for servers, workstations, and network equipment.
Respond to help desk requests, document work performed, and provide strong customer support.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. or Equivalent Vendor Certifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
Strong troubleshooting, research, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with administering secure and compliant environments, including CMMC 2.0 certified networks, is preferred.
Working knowledge of routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, ACLs, and data communication topologies.
Experience with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Visio.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Cisco CCNP certifications.
Experience with VoIP phone systems.
