Position Summary
We are seeking a mid-level SysOps Engineer / Systems Administrator to manage and support our internal systems and infrastructure. This role involves both backend systems administration and user support across a range of platforms. You’ll work with a small team to maintain server environments, automate operations, support cloud infrastructure, and help ensure the smooth deployment of our applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Linux and Windows servers across multiple environments
  • Provide support to internal staff with hardware and system-related issues, including equipment, accounts, permissions, and connectivity, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks
  • Assist with application deployment and configuration
  • Manage backup systems and disaster recovery processes
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Ensure security best practices across systems
  • Contribute to team documentation by creating and updating internal guides for common procedures and troubleshooting steps
  • Investigate and propose solutions to technical challenges beyond the scope of existing tools and workflows

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of systems administration or SysOps experience
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting end users in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
