Purpose and Objective:
Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer at our Bellevue, WA location responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in Cloud of respective product lines and ensure delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements.
Expectations and Tasks:
Contribute to the development of automated solutions for anomaly detection and incident auto remediation. Performs automation and standardization. Monitor and measure systems for performance, load & capacity planning. Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime. Participate in incident management and resolution, contribute to incident root cause analysis. Assist Research & Development (R&D) teams in the delivery of production ready services. Collaborates with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. Improves system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
