About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level AI Developer to design and deliver AI-driven solutions that enhance business workflows and user experiences. This role is requires the candidate is able to build production-grade AI systems, integrate models into applications, and contribute to scalable, maintainable solutions, not for basic ML experimentation or research.

Candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of reasonably accurate scoping, estimation, scalability, and on-time delivery.

We are unable to provide sponsorship and all work, including remote, must be conducted within the CONUS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and NLP models for contract management, pharmaceutical, government, and legal applications.
  • Implement LLM-based solutions, embeddings, and hybrid architectures for automation and workflow optimization.
  • Build Python-based data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and model-serving APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Apply MLOps practices for model monitoring, retraining, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and ethical AI standards.
  • Document technical designs and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Mentor developers on different teams to integrating and extending AI services into their areas and assist with code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3–5 years in AI/ML projects
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++, R, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • NLP Skills: Experience with text classification, summarization, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Cloud & Deployment: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Data Skills: Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data versioning.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
  • Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA).
  • Familiarity with MLflow, CI/CD for ML, and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of ASP.NET and MVC architecture for application integration.
  • Miscellaneous:

Must have excellent English communication skills.

Must be able to legally work in the United States, must pass background, criminal, and drug testing.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
