Position Overview: Entrust is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Secure Issuance R&D team to take an active role in our DevOps solutions. As a Sr DevOps Engineer you should have curious, exploratory, and automation mindset to build, deploy, test, automate CI/CD to public, private, and hybrid cloud. The solution is deployed in a highly secure cloud environment and demands the latest security standards. The qualified candidate shall be passionate about DevOps and automation technologies. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience, collaboration, and judgment to accomplish goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain deployment of various .NET and Java software microservices using DevOps practices and configuration management on various internal and external (production) environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments for various platforms as part of DevOps team.
  • Create/Update build pipelines, automation and templates as required.
  • Maintain or establish standards and repeatable processes for managing change across environments, taking advantage of DevOps tools and practices.
  • Automate configuration and deployment of build, test and tooling services utilizing Infrastructure/configuration as code, monitoring, and instrumentation.
  • Assist in the identification and estimation of work for the group by defining requirements, task breakdown and effort.
  • Build operational documentation from existing service architectures and standards.
  • Assist in production escalation and problem resolution. Some off-hours support might be required especially with outages and release deployments.
Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 + years DevOps experience performing build and Infrastructure orientated tasks using modern DevOps technologies.
  • Extensive experience working with enterprise level microservice applications, including deployment and maintenance of applications in distributed environments.
  • Extensive hands-on experience of continuous integration tooling (Terraform, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, Artifactory).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with container management technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher).
  • Experience developing and executing configuration management scripts on Linux and Windows platforms through Ansible, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Working knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
  • Knowledge of on-premises and cloud-based systems and tooling (vSphere, Azure, Amazon AWS).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and analysis solutions (Splunk, Datadog, k6, Grafana).
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • 7 + years DevOps experience performing build and infrastructure orientated tasks using modern DevOps technologies.
  • Experience as a software developer working on a complex, cross-platform codebase (POSIX - Linux/UNIX) using C/C++, .NET, Java including writing of automated tests and making releases.
  • Experience in SSDLC environment including software security concept and best practices (cryptography, obfuscation, certificate management)
  • Experience developing a commercial/external software product including API’s
Where you will be: This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in-office at our HQ in Shakopee, MN, as specified in the job description. At Entrust, we have a distributed workforce.

Compensation Range:

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $96,356-$141,323 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
