We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will ensure the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role requires a strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. The Senior Analyst will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with technology, risk, and compliance activities, including IT Policy and risk practices, compliance with relevant regulatory and certification requirements, including the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), and HITRUST certification requirements.
- Assists in the execution and management of the security control framework exception process.
- Reviews exception requests and determines whether an exception is required.
- Works cross-functionally with IT teams, analyzes information provided, and assesses compensating controls to assess the risk associated with the requests.
- Provides reporting to TRC and IT leadership on existing exceptions.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS + at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: IT Compliance, IT Audit, IT Security, Cloud Security
- Experience with IT Policies and control frameworks
- Experience assessing risk
- Experience communicating conceptual and technical information both verbally (on the phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management, external clients).
