Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in a fast-paced meat processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. As a Meat Wrapper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the quality expectations of our customers while adhering to industry regulations.

Duties

• Perform meat wrapping tasks with precision, ensuring optimal yield and presentation of products.
• Operate various meat processing equipment safely and efficiently, following all OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP protocols and company policies.
• Package finished products for distribution while ensuring proper labeling and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols within the food processing plant to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food handling or similar roles within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge or willingness to learn of sanitation practices, HACCP principles, and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes in a food production setting is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
