Enterprise Architect (Applications, Data, DevSecOps & Cloud)

Location: Remote (preferred locations: Scottsdale, AZ, and Sandy, UT)
Reports to: CIO & CISO

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

ALKEME Insurance is seeking a hands-on Enterprise Architect to provide strategic planning, architecture design, and technical leadership across our technology ecosystem. You will drive cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), SDLC, and business process alignment, shaping scalable and secure enterprise solutions.

Requirements for an Enterprise Architect:

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture or software engineering
• Strong programming skills (Java, Python) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Expertise in systems integration, SOA, and service-oriented design
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Agile, DevOps frameworks, and best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities of an Enterprise Architect:

• Lead Enterprise, Solution, and Technical Architecture initiatives and architectural design for applications, data, and integrations
• Design and deliver microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud solutions
• Embed DevOps, Agile methodologies, and security best practices across the SDLC
• Drive adoption of cloud computing, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure business process alignment with technology strategies and enterprise goals
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development and operations teams
