Job description

SHR Talent is partnering with a large healthcare organization in Nashville, TN in their search for a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Information Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and enhancing the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platform to support the organization's Human Resources functions. As the Human Resources Information Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for system administration, data analysis, reporting, and ensuring the seamless integration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with other business systems.

A successful candidate for the Human Resources Information Systems Analyst role will possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently. The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst is a 1099 contract or contract-to-hire opportunity with an expected contract duration of 5 or more months. This is a hybrid-remote opportunity. Nashville-based candidates are preferred for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platform, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the system
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting for Human Resources Information Systems-related issues
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and entry of employee data into the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platform
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and IT teams to implement data integration processes
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for Human Resources and other departments
  • Analyze metrics and trends to provide insights for decision-making
  • Develop and maintain standardized and custom reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities
  • Implement and test system upgrades and enhancements
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and recommend system optimizations accordingly
  • Conduct training sessions for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) users to ensure effective utilization of the system
  • Create and maintain documentation for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) processes and procedures
  • Ensure Human Resources Information Systems compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies, collaborating with Human Resources, IT, and Security teams to implement and maintain data security measures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Human Resources Information Systems Solutions Analyst or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Human Resources Management System (HRMS) platforms such as Lawson HRMS, preferably with experience in implementation and system administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Human Resource laws, regulations, and best practices
