Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a 100% onsite role, and candidates must be ready to work in person. The ideal candidate will contribute across both frontend and backend layers, build scalable and high-performance web applications, and collaborate closely with UX/UI, architecture, and enterprise teams to deliver secure, reliable, and user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities & Day-to-Day View
- Contribute to the development of both Frontend (UI) and Backend (BFF – Backend for Frontend) layers.
- Build modern, responsive, and adaptive web applications that deliver seamless user experiences across devices and browsers.
- Develop Frontend applications using React JS.
- Build and maintain Backend BFF layers using Java and/or JavaScript, leveraging REST APIs, GraphQL, Node.js, and/or MuleSoft.
- Work closely with UX/UI Designers to translate designs into high-quality, intuitive, and innovative user interfaces.
- Apply best-in-class engineering practices to create high-performance, user-friendly, and browser-optimized web solutions.
- Effectively use GitHub Copilot across the SDLC for:
- Pair programming
- Writing unit test cases
- Automation test cases
- Supporting agile user story creation to improve developer productivity
- Partner with Enterprise and Application Architecture teams to contribute to detailed design and solution architecture, ensuring software is secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Implement and adhere to all critical Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) defined at the solution level.
- Focus on scalability, security, availability, and reliability of applications and processes.
- Design, code, test, debug, and build high-quality software following unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), and security-driven development practices.
- Document new and existing components to ensure solutions meet business, quality, and operational requirements.
- Continuously improve website and application performance using monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Quantum Metric, Splunk, and similar platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to quickly troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues, applying deep technical expertise to solve complex programming and design challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in web application development across frontend and backend layers.
- Hands-on expertise with React JS for frontend development.
- Experience building backend services using Java and/or JavaScript, REST APIs, GraphQL, Node.js, and/or MuleSoft.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable system design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
