Position Summary:
The Operations and IT Analyst is responsible for maintaining and optimizing technology systems across the venues. This role combines hands-on IT expertise with operational analysis, ensuring that gaming systems, POS platforms, and operational technologies function seamlessly to drive efficiency, compliance, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has direct experience with gaming system support, Nevada regulatory requirements, and hospitality technology integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Gaming & IT Systems
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support casino management systems, slot accounting systems, and related gaming technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) requirements for reporting, technology, and system security.
- Manage integrations between systems to ensure accurate reporting and guest engagement.
- Oversee venue IT infrastructure including networking, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and back-office systems.
- Coordinate with gaming and IT vendors for system installations, updates, and issue resolution.
- Safeguard company and customer data with robust cybersecurity and access control protocols.
Operational Analysis
- Partner with operations leadership to optimize labor management, inventory controls, and cash handling processes in boutique casino settings.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and financial reporting requirements through accurate data management.
- Recommend and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations.
- Occasional local travel and Reno travel with same or next day returns.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in casino operations, gaming systems support, or IT within the hospitality industry.
- Strong working knowledge of casino management systems, slot management/monitoring systems, and POS platforms.
- Familiarity with Nevada Gaming Control Board compliance standards and reporting requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and manage IT infrastructure in multi-unit casino/hospitality environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across venues and departments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with boutique or local casinos or large-scale resorts.
- Background in integrating loyalty programs, gaming promotions, and hospitality technologies.
- Working knowledge of IT networking, cybersecurity, and system administration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
