Job Description – Assistant Server Administrator :

The Assistant Server Administrator will be responsible for assisting our in house team of in-house and field technicians with guidance on troubleshooting and setup of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 environments, Google Workspace environments, desktop OS’ (Windows and OSX), software, printers, and mobile apps. The technician must also be prepared to work directly with clients via phone, email, and in person. Time management skills are a must.

This role is expected to have an educational background in IT and prior job experience as a technician. This would generally be called Level 2-3.

Employees will be given unlimited metro cards for travel to and from customers.

Hours:

Full time. All candidates are required to work from the office 5 days a week.

Monday - Thursday 9am-6pm

Friday 9am - 5pm

Compensation:

$60,000-$90,000/year starting salary (varies by skill level)

$50/month reimbursement for mobile phone plan

Responsibilities:

• Install, manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Troubleshoot server, cloud, and network issues.
• Implement and monitor backups and disaster recovery solutions.
• Respond to security alerts and apply necessary updates.
• Provide support for escalated technical issues.
• Collaborate with IT staff and communicate effectively with clients.
• Assist in server and cloud migrations and other IT projects.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
