Position: Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – ZIP 43054)

Employment Type: Contract

Billing Rate: $45/hr (C2C or W2)

### Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in B2C e-commerce and in-store retail solutions to support enterprise-scale applications for a major retail brand.

### Responsibilities

- Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices for e-commerce and in-store applications.

- Integrate APIs with POS, order management, inventory, and CRM systems.

- Build responsive UIs using React.js or Angular for web and in-store experiences.

- Implement scalable features for product browsing, cart, checkout, and returns.

- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business analysts to align solutions with retail business goals.

- Ensure code quality using TDD/BDD and automated testing frameworks.

- Partner with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

### Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of professional Java development experience.

- Proven background in B2C e-commerce and in-store retail systems.

- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on with React.js or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven architectures.

- Database skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Strong understanding of retail workflows including order lifecycle, promotions, loyalty programs, and POS integrations.

- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.

### Nice-to-Have

- Experience with GraphQL and contract testing.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

### Contract Details

- Rate: $45/hr

- Duration: 6 months, with possible extension

- Hybrid role with on-site presence required in Columbus, OH (ZIP 43054).
