Our Client:

Our client is developing an AI platform designed to act as an expert on any codebase, accessible through an API. Software teams leverage this technology to build custom internal AI development tools such as code reviewers and debugging assistants.

By connecting the platform to any GitHub or GitLab repository, it automatically indexes the codebase, stays updated with new commits, and enables natural language queries. Built on a codebase-optimized version of RAG, the system mimics how human developers navigate codebases, delivering significantly higher performance compared to traditional approaches.

About this Role:
Our client is seeking their first Developer Advocate to help introduce a groundbreaking developer tool to the broader engineering community. This role will serve as the bridge between the product and the outside world, particularly open source contributors, curious engineers, and early adopters.

As a zero-to-one role, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment across channels, discover what resonates, and shape how the company builds developer trust at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Drive adoption in open source: Identify high-value repositories and contributors who would benefit from automated code review. Support adoption, answer questions, and gather feedback.
• Evangelize product features: Share the vision and impact of what’s being built on platforms like Twitter, Hacker News, and developer forums, helping to shape the conversation around AI-assisted code review.
• Create developer-facing content: Produce deep dives, walkthroughs, and short-form demos to help engineers understand the product’s value and differentiation.
• Maintain clear documentation: Ensure that new users can onboard seamlessly. Continuously refine clarity, coverage, and structure to reduce friction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
