The Center for Autism & Related Services (CARS) is a leader in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), offering multi-disciplinary services to children and individuals with special needs (ages 2-21) in school and home environments. Through partnerships with school districts and private/Medi-Cal insurances, we serve the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas, now including center-based services in our state-of-the-art facility.
We provide ongoing training for our staff, facilitated by supervisors, licensed clinicians, and board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs).

Job Description:
CARS is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Therapists for full-time positions. You will work 1:1 with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders in K-12 schools and home settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience delivering evidence-based interventions within the school-day environment.
- Location: K-12 Schools within Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, no more than 15 miles from your home.
- Schedule: Dependent on the school assigned.
- Elementary Schools: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Middle Schools: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- High Schools: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavior intervention for a designated student.
- Implement cutting-edge, evidence-based interventions in school and home settings.
- Be a collaborative and integral member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collect data on the student you are assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (required).
- Experience working with children in school, 1:1, or community settings (preferred).
- Experience with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities (a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and monitor treatment plans.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 15 miles to the assigned school.
