Accion Labs US, Inc.

Our direct Client is looking for Linux Admin-12 Months Contract To Hire-Hybrid position(2-3 days a week) at Columbus ,Ohio.

Required Qualifications

• Red Hat certified (e.g., RHCSA; RHCE strongly preferred).
• 3–5+ years administering RHEL (production-grade, multi-tenant, regulated environments).
• Strong scripting in Shell/Bash and Python (error handling, modularity, documentation).
• Experience with:
• User/privilege management (sudoers), SELinux, firewalld/iptables, systemd.
• Storage (LVM), filesystems (XFS/ext4), NFS/SMB, and basic SAN concepts.
• Package management (yum/dnf), repositories, and patch orchestration.
• Practical knowledge of security hardening, audit, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and performance troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with change management, ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow), and on-call support.

Preferred / Secondary Skills:

• OpenShift (OCP) and/or Kubernetes operations (node management, networking, storage, RBAC).
• Ansible for configuration management; Git for version control.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) running Linux workloads.
• Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, routing, load balancers, TLS certs).
• Experience in financial services or mortgage domain (understanding of compliance and audit needs).

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, information Systems, or related discipline.

The salary range for this role is 80-100 k/annum or Corp-Corp rates please contact the recruiter.
