Blue Beacon Truck Wash

We're hiring Emergency Medical Technicians to provide medical services at this year's Hulaween, in Live Oak, FL. This is a multi-day music and camping festival held at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, a large outdoor venue along the Suwannee River.

In consideration of the remote location for this event, staff will have a dedicated camping area within the festival grounds. Tents and small trailers are permitted. Staff will need to bring their own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pillow, etc.) and prepare for Florida’s conditions — hot days, cool nights, and possible rain. Meals during shifts are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site emergency medical care (basic life support, stabilization, triage).
• Respond to incidents in both performance and camping areas.
• Document patient encounters accurately.
• Coordinate with triage, transport, and higher-level care.
• Work assigned shifts (which may include nights and long hours).
• Stay safety-minded regarding terrain, crowds, and weather conditions.

What We Need From You

• Current EMT certification (Florida or eligible for reciprocity).
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to commit to the full scheduled shifts.
• Willingness to stay onsite in camping conditions (dedicated staff camping area provided).
• Bring your own camping gear (tent/sleep system, toiletries, weather-appropriate clothing).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor festival environment.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Prior experience in festival, remote, or wilderness medicine a plus (but not required).
