Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure and ensure the effective management of IT projects and daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure management; technology solutions and implementation; data security and compliance; and project management. This role requires a proactive leader who can supervise IT staff, implement best practices, and enhance our technology systems to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure. Oversee networks, servers, and operating systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications while staying within budgets.
• Develop IT staff. Provide training, leadership and support to ensure team effectiveness.
• Develop IT policies. Create and enforce disaster recovery plans and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues. Resolve technical challenges to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders. Identify technology solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
• Oversee upgrades. Manage system upgrades and lifecycle processes.
• Optimize IT operations. Streamline processes through automation and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in IT project management with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of firewall configurations, remote access software, and network engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise technical teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• A solid understanding of information security protocols and best practices is required.
