Xenios is reimagining how the world experiences coaching, fitness, and wellness. We are developing an AI-powered operating system designed to help coaches, trainers, and wellness professionals scale their impact by automating the busywork and enhancing client outcomes.

Our platform unifies scheduling, messaging, data tracking, and personalized program creation into one seamless experience. The goal is simple: to build the foundational infrastructure for the future of human performance.

We’re currently in the early build phase and are looking for a Founding Engineer in the Austin area to help shape both our product and our culture from the ground up.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join Xenios at the very beginning and play a defining role in bringing a new category of wellness technology to life. You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team to architect, prototype, and launch the first version of the platform.

You will:

• Design and implement the core architecture of an AI-powered, HIPAA-conscious web platform.
• Work across the stack, contributing to both frontend (React) and backend (Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL) systems.
• Build intelligent integrations with third-party APIs, wearables, and health data sources.
• Collaborate closely with the founders on product strategy and user experience.
• Help establish our engineering culture and best practices as the technical foundation of Xenios.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is both a builder and a visionary—comfortable wearing multiple hats and excited to create something from the ground up.

• 5+ years of full-stack experience (Python, React, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML or LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Strong product intuition and ability to translate user feedback into scalable solutions.
• Experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Located in or able to occasionally work in Austin, Texas.
• Genuine interest in the health, wellness, or human performance space.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with HIPAA-compliant systems.
• iOS or mobile development experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $44,681.55 - $53,810.04 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
