Job Overview:

The PLM Administrator will be responsible for the governance of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, overseeing the design, customization, implementation, support & user interaction, with the specific focus on Centric Software. Candidate will work closely with all key stakeholders, including Product Development, IT and company leadership to ensure the PLM system meets the evolving requirements of the business, and optimizes the product development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management and maintenance of the Centric PLM system, ensuring optimal performance and up to date alignment with ever-changing business needs
  • Manage user accounts, system roles and permissions, and non-host/supplier accessibility
  • Collaborate with department SMUs to gather and document business requirements for PLM system enhancements & configurations
  • Work with leadership to identify internal process improvement opportunities and establish best practices for system implementation
  • Draft and implement system configurations and customizations to satisfy business requirements and drive user acceptance testing
  • Support PLM users to troubleshoot issues, establish personal views & customizations, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use.
  • Upkeep of detailed system documentation, including custom configurations, system integration mapping, process workflows, and user help & training manuals.
  • Construct data analytics & reporting tools to support product development decisions and supplier management effectiveness
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system & all downstream platforms, conducting regular audits and clean-up activities
  • Provide direction and supervision to 3rd party contractors servicing our REST API integration from Centric to effectively secure data transmission reliability
  • Oversee the development and deployment of additional Centric PLM solutions & modules; Connect with Centric Software to keep abreast of recent product advancements, new features and offerings
  • Lead and participate in ancillary PLM-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Centric PLM software, database management, and SQL
  • Experience with system integration and data migration
  • Excels in working in a fast pace, demanding and results-driven environment with fluid business requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including planning, containment, execution, and delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional departments and diverse team makeups
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PLM systems role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for experience in apparel product development processes and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and other database programming languages
  • Experience with CAD software and integration with PLM systems
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in PLM and systematized product development/design workflows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
