Steel and Pipes, Inc – Oficinas Centrales – Administrador de Sistemas

Estamos buscando un Administrador de Sistemas, que será responsable de supervisar el mantenimiento y la seguridad de las intranets y sistemas informáticos de la empresa. Sus deberes incluyen la instalación de software, programación, responder a las inquietudes de los empleados, redactar documentos de los sistemas informáticos y coordinarse con el director de IT para el mejoramiento de las operaciones.

Identifique cualquier problema en el sistema, anticipe posibles problemas y repare los sistemas y el software cuando sea necesario. Otros deberes y responsabilidades pueden incluir:

1. Configurar nuevos usuarios y darle acceso a la intranet

2. Administración y mantenimiento de los servidores de archivos

3. Funcionamiento del firewall de la organización

4. Monitoreo de la conexión al Internet en busca de riesgos de seguridad

5. Empleando los últimos protocolos de seguridad

6. Supervisión de la red de área local (LAN) en busca de amenazas o errores

Características Generales

· Persona carismática dispuesta a aprender de tecnología en un ambiente retante.

· Actitud positiva y con curiosidad para aprender labores relacionadas.

· 10% del tiempo para visitar las sucursales y asistencia compulsoria a los 6 inventarios de las sucursales.

· Bilingüe preferiblemente (español e inglés)

· Horario de trabajo a tiempo completo de lunes a sábado (sábados ½ día).

· Dispuesto a trabajar horario extendido cuando hay proyectos especiales que lo ameriten.

· Fuerte atención al detalle.

Debe conocer de lo siguiente:

Programas Primarios

· Epicor Prophet 21, Darktrace, Nutanix, Acropolis, eG Innovations, Comodo Enterprise.

Sistemas

· Windows Servers: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file shares, Remote Apps.

· Microsoft: Access, Excel, SQL, Power Query.

· Workstation: Windows 10, 11

Comunicaciones

· Conocimiento básico en Firewalls.

· Conocimiento en VPN

· Equipos móviles: teléfonos y tabletas Android, teléfonos Apple.

· Conocimiento básico de telefonía VoIP

Técnica

· Manejar cableado de red y hacer sus puntas correctamente.

· Hacer análisis de las computadoras para resolver problemas de hardware o Windows.

· Interpretar problemas y utilizar aplicaciones y destrezas para resolverlos.

Programación

· Conocimiento en Windows Scripts, lenguaje SQL y HTML.

· Conocimiento en programación de Visual Studio y Crystal Reports.

· Conocimiento general de SharePoint y PowerApps.

Se busca a una persona que trabaje en equipo. Esta persona estará expuesta a un ambiente de aprendizaje el cual lo ayudará a crecer. La oficina principal es en Caguas, Puerto Rico.

Steel and Pipes, Inc – Central Offices – System Administrator

We are looking for a Systems Administrator, who will be responsible for supervising the maintenance and security of the intranets and computer systems of the company. His duties include installing antivirus or malware protection software, responding to employee concerns, and drafting documents to help employees use computer systems and coordinating with the IT director for the improvement of operations.

Identify any problems in the system, anticipate potential problems, and repair systems and software when needed. Other duties and responsibilities may include:

1. Configure new users and give them access to the intranet

2. Managing and maintaining file servers

3. How the organization's firewall works

4. Monitoring the Internet connection for security risks

5. Employing the latest security protocols

6. Monitoring the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors

General Features

· 10% of the time to visit the branches and compulsory assistance to the 6 inventories of the branches.

· Bilingual preferably (Spanish and English)

· Full-time working hours from Monday to Saturday (Saturdays 1/2 day).

· Willing to work extended hours when there are special projects that merit it.

You should know the following:

· Do computer analysis to solve hardware or Windows problems.

· Interpret problems and use applications and skills to solve them.

Programming

· Knowledge in Windows Scripts, SQL language and HTML.

· Knowledge in Visual Studio programming and Crystal Reports.

· General knowledge of SharePoint and PowerApps.
