IT Systems Administrator
Market & Johnson, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Eau Claire, WI! This position is full time and provides competitive salary and benefits. This role will manage IT projects/initiatives and provide first line IT support to our field and office employees across our three offices (Eau Claire, La Crosse, Stillwater, MN), as well as jobsites. Day trip travel is required at times.

Market & Johnson has posted for an IT Specialist as well as a Systems Administrator - however we are looking to fill one position. We will compensate candidates based on experience. Responsibilities

  • Perform Network security maintenance
  • Perform Network/WiFi support and management​
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardwareProvide support for desktop and mobile devices
  • Install and configure desktop operating systems and application software, hardware, and peripherals
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recommending software and hardware requirements and technologies
  • Identify and implement measures to monitor system functionality and availability; make recommendations for improvement
  • Organize, configure, and troubleshoot network resources; manage user rights/security
  • Troubleshoot, research, analyze, document, and resolve hardware and software technical problems
  • Collaborate with and cross train with other members of the IT team
  • Continually seek employee and skill development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum degree requirement: Associates degree (IT related preferred)
  • 8+ years of IT experience in professional setting (required)
  • Must be able to travel and work at sites away from the office (required)
  • Ability to transport, install and configure computer systems, hardware and peripherals
  • Prompt response to system outages or service problems
  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Experience with construction processes and environments is considered an asset
