Job Description:

Nanoscience Instruments is seeking a highly skilled CRM/Database Administrator to manage and optimize our customer relationship management (CRM) system and database infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Salesforce administration and database management to develop back-end solutions, front-end UI/UX layouts, and dashboards. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Service, Logistics, and Applications teams to ensure seamless data integration and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM & Database Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce CRM and other database solutions to support business operations.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation within Salesforce.
  • Optimize database structures, queries, and performance tuning for efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Front-End UI/UX & Dashboard Development

  • Develop and enhance user interfaces, page layouts, and dashboards to improve user experience.
  • Work with internal teams to gather requirements and implement intuitive data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Customize CRM interfaces, workflows, and processes to meet business needs.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between IT, Sales, Marketing, Service, Logistics, and Applications teams.
  • Provide training and support for CRM/database users across different departments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and database structures.
  • Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, analytics, and reporting needs.

System Maintenance & Optimization

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot CRM/database issues.
  • Ensure data hygiene, migration, and deduplication to maintain clean, actionable insights.
  • Develop and enforce best practices, governance policies, and documentation for CRM/database usage.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce and database technology advancements and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce administration (certification is a plus).
  • Strong expertise in SQL, database management, and optimization.
  • Experience in CRM customization, automation, and API integrations.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design principles for CRM interfaces and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce reports, or similar) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or Consultant certification.
  • Experience with ETL tools, REST APIs, and third-party CRM integrations.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
