VetsEZ is currently seeking a .Net Developer to join a team to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position will support the Data Migration & Syndication effort within the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO).
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software solutions using tools such as C#, ASP.NET, Python, SQL, .NET Core, and various JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, jQuery).

Architect and build microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and web applications using MVC and secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS).

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing; identify and resolve bugs; deploy and manage applications across test and production environments.

Collaborate with architects to assess system gaps and define metadata and change management requirements.

Perform database design, optimization, and interaction using platforms like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and IRIS.

Follow Agile SDLC practices; manage source control and code review processes via GitHub, Azure DevOps, and similar tools.

Ensure code quality, document codebases, and manage documentation in centralized repositories like SharePoint.

Monitor and troubleshoot applications within IIS; support certificate management and secure environment setup.

Integrate with platforms like HealthShare, Tableau, Power BI, and SAS; contribute to data analytics and visualization efforts.

Explore and implement emerging technologies, including LLMs, to enhance software design.

Support risk mitigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Stay current on tech trends and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support project success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline.

5+ years of experience

Experience in the VA or other federal organizations desired.

Experience with Data Migration and Data Syndication within the VA desired.

Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
