E-Logic is actively seeking qualified candidates to support the Peace Corps within the Department of the Interior (DOI). These roles will play a vital part in supporting the mission and operations of the Peace Corps, contributing to impactful projects in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain information security controls in accordance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST SP 800-53.

Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist with system patching to address security weaknesses.

Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

Support continuous monitoring and reporting of the security posture.

Ensure adherence to the Peace Corps' Information Security Program and System Security Plan (SSP).
Qualifications:

Solid understanding of federal information security regulations, including FISMA and NIST SP 800-53.

Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and processes, and assisting with system patching.

Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and monitoring security logs.

Basic knowledge of incident response procedures.

Ability to support continuous monitoring and reporting of security posture.

Understanding of System Security Plans (SSPs) and information security programs.
-
CompTIA Security+, CySA+ are a plus.
Note: This is a temporary position limited to a total of 60 hours of work. The role is part of a proposal for the Department of the Interior (DOI), supporting the Peace Corps. Hiring for this position is contingent upon E-Logic being awarded the contract.
