This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level engineer who wants to own meaningful projects, contribute to architecture, and help shape the future of our software ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL.
• Develop modern frontend features in React.
• Design and manage integrations with external directory APIs (Google Business, Facebook, Azure Maps, Yelp, Uber Eats, and more).
• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to scope, design, and deliver features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize for speed and reliability, and improve monitoring.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation (Docker, CI/CD, Grafana/Prometheus).

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong in Python (FastAPI) and JavaScript (React).
• Solid understanding of SQLAlchemy, relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, ScyllaDB).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and DevOps workflows.
• Self-starter who thrives in a hybrid or remote environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with OAuth frameworks and user authentication.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, and Loki.
• Background in web scraping (SmartProxy, Brightdata, Playwright).
• Prior experience with third-party directory APIs.
• Strong UI skills (Tailwind, Flowbite, Material UI).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
