Houseman (Maintenance and Janitorial)

The primary responsibilities of a houseman are as follows:

• Creating a warm, welcoming environment for guests.
• Cleaning and maintaining the hotel's public areas including the lobby, the fitness center, bathrooms, the pool, the hallways, as well as the patio areas, the parking lot, and the lawn.
• Shoveling sidewalks and clearing guest windshields.
• Aiding the chief engineer in maintenance projects.
• Aiding housekeeping in cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
• Repairing items in guest rooms as needed.
• Replenishing guest supplies such as toiletries or linens upon request.
• Working closely with the front desk to coordinate cleaning projects and accommodating guest needs.

Hotels are a 24/7 business, so the strongest candidates will be open to working multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.50 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
