What You’ll Do:
- Architect and build low-latency backend systems that handle billions in volume and millions of requests per second.
- Write production-grade C++ and Python powering real-time trading, messaging, and distributed systems.
- Monitor and optimize performance at micro- and nano-second granularity.
- Collaborate with world-class engineers, CTOs, and open-source communities.
- Own your code—from design to deployment to debugging in live environments.
- Contribute to RFCs, system design docs, and best practices that shape the future of finance.
What You Must Bring:
- 4–5+ years of experience building high-performance backend systems in high-velocity production. (implementations done in weeks, not months)
- Mastery of C++ and Python in real-world environments.
- Experience in fintech, trading platforms, OR distributed systems.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns, concurrency, and system architecture.
- Stable job history and a track record of solving hard problems.
What would be Great to bring:
- Experience with Rust, Go, or TypeScript.
- Background in quant trading, crypto exchanges, or DeFi protocols.
- Familiarity with Solana, blockchain infrastructure, or Web3 ecosystems.
- Pedigree from top CS programs or elite tech/trading firms (Google, Jane Street, Citadel, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,000.00 - $290,000.00 per year
