What You’ll Do
- Design and troubleshoot custom automation machines
- Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with clients and suppliers to engineer innovative, cost-effective solutions
- Create 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials
- Improve designs and processes with a focus on quality, speed, and detail
- Assist with machine builds and installations
- Occasionally travel to support installations, training and client needs
What You Bring
- 5+ years of machine design experience (automation preferred)
- Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks)
- Familiarity with 2D CAD tools (AutoCAD, DraftSight)
- Ability to spec mechanical components for long-term reliability
- Experience managing projects and working independently
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and technical writing abilities
- Bonus: Knowledge of statics, dynamics, motors/gearboxes, and materials, electrical, programming

Base Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
