About the Role
We’re seeking a UI/UX Product Designer to lead experience design across Best Life’s mobile (React Native), web (React), and LLIF web platforms. You’ll create intuitive interfaces that enable users to log and explore health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being data effortlessly, using touch, voice, and text inputs. Collaborating with experienced technical leadership, developers, QA, and marketing, you’ll leverage Figma and AI-powered tools to prototype rapidly, iterate based on user and analytics feedback, and bring complex datasets to life as clear, actionable visuals. Success will be measured by user engagement with your designs, usability feedback, and the impact of gamified features on behavior change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype user flows for:
- Health: symptoms, pain, medication, body metrics, vitals syncs, sleep
- Lifestyle: nutrition, exercise, content tracking, time management
- Emotional well-being: stress, emotions, mood
- Input & planning: note-taking, journaling, habit plans, calendar insights
- Insights & interaction: data visualizations, trend discovery, voice/text NLP input
- Build modular, reusable component libraries in Figma and collaborate with engineers to implement designs in React Native (mobile) and React (web).
- Work with developers, QA, and marketing to define data requirements for design iteration, incorporating qualitative user feedback and quantitative analytics.
- Create engaging gamified experiences using concrete performance metrics to motivate users to achieve their 'best life'.
- Design accessible, internationalized, and responsive interfaces for global users.
- Support user testing sessions to refine designs based on real-world feedback.
RequirementsMust-Haves
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, ideally for mobile-first consumer apps.
- Strong portfolio showcasing simplified data experiences and elegant interaction design.
- Proficiency in Figma and design systems.
- Empathy for diverse user needs in health and lifestyle tracking.
- Critical thinking to translate complex datasets into intuitive visuals.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with React Native, React, or AI design tools.
- Experience with voice interface/NLP-based interaction design.
- Background in quantified self, digital health, or behavior-change platforms.
- Strong presentation skills to pitch designs to stakeholders.
