Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive our organization forward. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust architectures that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Your expertise will guide the development of cloud-based solutions and enhance our IT infrastructure, making a significant impact on our operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement service-oriented architectures that align with business objectives.
• Lead the integration of cloud computing technologies including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure into existing systems.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to create microservices and RESTful APIs that enhance application functionality.
• Oversee the deployment of applications using CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as FedRAMP while implementing cloud solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for cloud infrastructure to support growth.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience in solution architecture with a strong focus on cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenStack.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices.
