Job description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate DevOps Engineer with at least a year of hands-on experience in DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in application monitoring tools, automation scripting (preferably in Python), and a passion for improving system reliability and performance through SRE principles.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
· Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, New Relic, SolarWinds, and Amazon CloudWatch.
· Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python (preferred) or other scripting languages to streamline monitoring, deployment, and operational tasks.
· Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and uphold SRE practices, including incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
· Assist in defining and tracking Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
· Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
· Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
· 1+ of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
· Hands-on experience with at least two of the following monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, New Relic, SolarWinds, Amazon CloudWatch.
· Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.
· Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
· Experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
· Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
· Familiarity with SRE concepts and practices.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
