Community of Hope is seeking a Senior Director of Information Technology to lead enterprise IT strategy, security, and innovation for a mission-driven organization serving 16,000+ patients and 1,600+ families in Washington, DC every year.

The Impact You’ll Have
You’ll lead the strategy, people, and systems that power:
- Healthcare delivery across three Federally Qualified Health Centers
- Housing and homelessness prevention for thousands of residents
- Community programs that address maternal health, nutrition, and family success
From cloud platforms to clinical EHR systems, you’ll ensure our technology empowers staff, safeguards data, and supports growth.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all IT systems and infrastructure -servers, networks, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and phones.
- Partner with health leadership to ensure clinical tools (e.g., eClinicalWorks, CRISP/PRISMA) drive proactive, data-informed care.
- Implement cutting-edge solutions that improve workflows, staff experience, and patient outcomes.
- Lead risk management, security, and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective, interoperable solutions.
- Build strong vendor relationships and lead IT operations staff with clear goals, check-ins, and professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Health IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years IT leadership, including 5+ in healthcare IT or clinical technology
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor management
- Strong track record aligning IT strategy with clinical workflows and compliance
- Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and IT security standards
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks, CRISP/PRISMA, Sage Intacct
- Master’s degree in Health IT or related field
- Nonprofit or mission-driven healthcare experience
